Christopher Newport’s Freeman Center will be host to the Old School Skills Camp. Opened in 2000, the Freeman Center features a fieldhouse with 3 full-sized basketball courts, a practice gym with 6 hoops, plus meeting rooms and locker rooms utilized by the campers. The dining and housing facilities are ranked among the best in the nation, and only a short walk from the Freeman Center. Christopher Newport University is located in Newport News, VA between Colonial Williamsburg and Virginia Beach. Newport News-Williamsburg Airport (15 min), Norfolk Airport (35 min), and Richmond Airport (1 hour) are all a short ride away.
